Dilithium Powers Saudi 3G TV Service

Dilithium, which specialises in high-quality multimedia delivery over mobile and broadband networks, has announced that its ViVAS solution is powering an advanced 3G live TV and video on demand portal that has been launched by Mobily in Saudi Arabia. The Subscribers to the service have access to 21 live TV channels, 14 video on demand channels, and more. Dilithium says the service launch is an illustration of ViVAS' powerful capabilities in enabling operators and service providers to rapidly develop and launch video-based Value Added Services.
“We are very pleased with the quality of the Dilithium Video Portal, and the customer experience,” says Mobily CEO, Khalid Al-kaf. “The uptake of the service has been growing rapidly, and we are hoping to extend the Video Portal and add new services.”
