Wattpad Launches on Ovi

Ebook community Wattpad has announced the availability of its mobile application on Nokia’s Ovi Store.
Wattpad says its app is the world’s most widely used mobile ebook application. Wattpad has consistently been one of the top ebook applications since its debut on Apple’s App Store, and has also proved popular with Blackberry users since its launch on BlackBerry App World. With the launch on Ovi, Wattpad notes that it is the only mobile ebook application that has a significant presence on all major application stores.
Each month, over 10,000 stories are published on Wattpad by thousands of emerging and established writers. Wattpad recently announced the ‘Share What You Have Written’ contest, which attracted over 500 original entries, ranging from poetry to novels, in the first 72 hours.
