Mobile marketing and advertising firm Widespace has launched the first mobile advertising marketplace for the Nordics.
The company says that in just three minutes, advertisers can get started and show banners on over 40 mobile sites in Sweden. The marketplace is fully automated and the pricing is determined by supply and demand. The better the ad pays, the higher priority it gets.
“We realized that many of our customers have become accustomed to handling the
advertising themselves, such as with Google,” says Widespace CEO, Patrik Fagerlund. “With us, it only takes three minutes to register, upload campaigns, and start advertising on the mobile Internet. No complicated negotiations, no phone calls and not a single e-mail is needed to get started. Customers can also follow their campaigns online.”
