Polar Mobile has unveiled MINT, a white-label mobile application solution for the Blackberry that businesses around the world can leverage to increase reach, drive frequency and create a new revenue stream from the BlackBerry audience.
Featuring configurable templates based upon award-winning designs, the real-time delivery of news and information leveraging Research In Motion's Push Service and a high use of notifications, MINT apps provide an engaging experience for BlackBerry audiences, the company says.
Building on Polar Mobile's success in launching over 50 branded media apps for BlackBerry, iPhone and Android with the existing SMART platform, MINT provides reporting capabilities and integrates into popular third-party mobile ad servers. The first of many apps to launch within the MINT product line will be in March 2010 and made available through BlackBerry App World.
“We are introducing MINT to enable businesses to have a compelling presence on BlackBerry that is cost-effective and can be launched in a matter of weeks,” says Polar Mobile CEO, Kunal Gupta. “MINT is targeted to reach BlackBerry users globally, with the first version supporting over 15 languages.”
