Aspiro is launching its ‘WiMP’ music streaming service in Denmark with Telenor. When the service launches in mid-April, it will become Denmark’s first music streaming service for PC, Mac and mobile. The service will be localised for Danish users
Telenor's Danish customers will have access to the entire WiMP library via PC, Mac, Linux and Android phones. Aspiro has also recently submitted its iPhone client for WiMP for approval for distribution via Apple's App Store.
Telenor customers will be able to access the service for 99 kroner (£12) per month. WiMP will be beta launched in Denmark on 15 April, with the full launch slated for May.
